Jaden Penning

AGWSR and Riceville were tied 6-6 less than five minutes into the game in Riceville Friday night. The scoring seemed to slow down after that. Until the second quarter. That’s when the Cougars unleashed their full arsenal on the way to a 56-24 win over the Wildcats.

Riceville opened the scoring at the 8:54 mark. At 7:54, AGWSR tied it with the first of four Jaden Penning touchdowns. Head coach James Koop then saw something he thought his squad could exploit in the second quarter. So, he let sophomore quarterback Bo Gerbracht lose.
