AGWSR found themselves in a big hole early and were never able to recover against their rival South Hardin. An 0-9 deficit to start the game swelled to double figures as the visiting Tigers won 56-42.
“Tonight we just didn’t make shots and I told the guys I can’t be mad about that. Some nights you are going to make shots and some nights you’re not but I really thought we played well. I thought our composure was great, that was probably the most composed we’ve played all year. Calm and really relaxed with each other and it’s just got to come down to making shots and tonight we didn’t do it,” said Cougar head coach Ryley Schipper. “I was happy with the effort tonight and credit to South Hardin, they did a good job of forcing us to make shots and tonight we didn’t.”
