Ellie Meyer

Ellie Meyer wrapped up her prep cross country career on Friday with a repeat performance. She finished 10th, like last season. It was her fourth trip to Fort Dodge.

There is no replacement for experience. If used correctly, it can pay dividends.

Iowa Falls-Alden/AGWSR Cadet senior Ellie Meyer was flush with experience as she took the starting grind in Fort Dodge on Friday. And it paid off with her second medal in four Class 3A Girls State Cross Country Meets. What Friday’s experience means for sophomores Teah Miller and Abby Harding – running in their first State Meet – remains to be seen. They finished 48th and 62nd respectively.

Teah Miller

Teah Miller finished 48th in Class 3A. The Cadet sophomore was running in her first State Meet, stating she learned a lot that will help next fall.

Abby Harding

Cadet sophomore Abby Harding gained a lot of experience running in her first State Meet. She finished 62nd, reaching her goal of the top-70.
