Abby Harding (left) and Teah Miller stayed in the lead pack for most of the race. They finished 3-2 respectively in the NCC Meet.

There was some unusual suspense surrounding last Tuesday’s North central conference Meet in Goldfield. After the girls race, in which Iowa Falls-Alden/AGWSR’s Teah Miller and Abby Harding finished second and third, the boys’ run wasn’t decided for two days.

The Cadet boys had no idea where they finished after a chip error failed to count Gavin Stalzer’s run. Head coach Michael Rottink had him in 22nd place, which might have lifted the Cadet boys from seventh to maybe fifth.
