Carrinton Hunt went 2-3 witrh a run scored in AGWSR's narrow 3-1 home win over the South Hardin Tigers Thursday. It was the eighth game in eight days for the Cougars.

The AGWSR Cougars looked tired Thursday night. Co-head coach Scott O’Brien thought they may have been, at least a little. It was their eighth game in eight days. With a sluggish 3-1 win over an improved South Hardin Tiger nine in Ackley, the fifth-ranked hosts came out of that stretch 5-3 to move to 8-3 overall.

“I think it was a little bit of a hangover from last night, we just didn’t have a lot of pep,” AGWSR co-head coach Scott O’Brien said. “The bats weren’t really lively. We just couldn’t find a rhythm against their pitcher. I think it was a little fatigue.”
