Grace Finger

Grace Finger was one of three Cougars to reach double digits in Tuesday's 47-44 win over ranked Colo-NESCO. The home win closed the regular season for the 16-5 AGWSR squad.

While the AGWSR Cougar boys had one regular season game remaining, they helped end the doubleheaders for the year with a 57-40 win over Colo-NESCO. The Cougar girls set them up with a tough 47-44 win over the Royals to start Tuesday’s twin killing in Ackley.

With Regionals opening just two nights later, a regular season ending tilt with the 13th-ranked team in Class 1A might not have been ideal timing, but it may just be that final tune-up the AGWSR Cougars needed.

Chase Harms

Chase Harms hit one basket, but it was a three-pointer to help AGWSR beat Colo-NESCO at home Tuesday.
