Calkins Nature Area staff will host a fly tying class on Sunday, Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost of the class is $20 per person, all materials will be provided. There will be trout, smallmouth, and pike fishing experts on hand to help participants tie flies to catch different fish species. There will also be rods, reels, and different fly lines for participants to try out. Kids can also tie for free if they're accompanied by a registered adult.
