NOTICE OF REQUESTS FOR QUALIFICATIONS
The City of Iowa Falls is requesting qualifications
from consulting engineers to provide final
engineering services for flood proofing projects in
Iowa Falls. The City needs to flood proof two well
heads and the wastewater treatment facility. All
these critical resources are near the Iowa River. Fox
Engineering has done the preliminary engineering
work. The estimated project cost is $648,000.
The City has received a $518,400 US Economic
Development Administration grant for this project,
and will provide $129,600 of local cash. The City
hopes to start construction in 2021.
Interested firms shall submit a pdf of your statement
of qualifications by 4 pm on March 4, 2021 to Mr.
Jody Anderson, City Manager, City of Iowa Falls,

The proposals from engineering firms will be rated
on the basis of the factors included below. The City
of Iowa Falls will select the firm with the highest
score on the factors included below. The rating
criterion from high to low is as follows:
1. Firm’s experience with similar projects;
2. Firm’s experience with EDA funding; and
3. Geographic location of the firm.
The statement of qualifications should describe in
detail the following factors:
1. Location of the firm’s office;
2. Staff experience with similar projects; and
3. Firm References.
