Alden Elementary Mask Mandate

Students at Alden Elementary will continue to be required to wear face-coverings while in the school building following a decision by the Alden School Board. At Monday's meeting, the board voted to extend its mask mandate until Feb. 1. The topic will revisited at the January meeting.

The Alden School Board extended its mask mandate for another month, but will revisit the issue in October.

The topic was discussed at the board's Monday meeting for 45 minutes. Superintendent Tony Neumann and Principal Jacki Kooistra updated the board on the use of face-coverings by students since the start of the school year.
