The two block stretch of Foster Blvd., from the Washington Ave. bridge south to Ellis Ave., has become the newest Christmas tradition in Iowa Falls. Each home has a "Grinch" related sign. The signs have further brought the neighborhood together, helping spread the cheer of the holiday.

It’s a fair bet that the target of a string of signs along Foster Boulevard in Iowa Falls would be none-too-pleased with the attention. It’s bad enough for “The Grinch” that it’s Christmas time.

Borrowing from Dr. Seuss, the residents of Foster Blvd. have come together to share Christmas messages from the classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” The plywood signs are emblazoned with such quips as “Don’t be a Grinch, celebrate the season.” There’s one in front of all 12 houses along the stretch.
