ATLAS of Central iowa

Roxanne Petersen started ATLAS of Central Iowa in Iowa Falls recently. The faith-based mentor program aims to strengthen communities through individual growth, while also helping those who are struggling with their lives.

Roxanne Petersen has had a rough life of physical and mental abuse. Through it all, she has developed a big heart to help others with similar stories. Finding God was a big part of her growth, and is what ultimately led to opening ATLAS of Central Iowa recently.

The wheels really started turning about three years ago when she was given a single moms retreat at Inspiration Hills in Inwood. Petersen said it was life changing.
