Community pitches in to harvest Barz fields

Barz Harvest

Volunteers from throughout the area were at the Kevin and Julia Barz farm last month to harvest the late couple's soybeans. They were killed in a July car crash south of Iowa Falls.

The moment the call for help went out, neighbors responded.

Kevin Barz had been farming for four decades. Everyone knew him. And after he and his wife, Julia, were killed in a car crash on July 5, everyone wanted to be a part of helping the family.
