When the Hubbard-Radcliffe and Eldora-New Providence School Boards met in joint session as South Hardin last month, there was a special request on the table. At Monday’s H-R Board meeting in Radcliffe, that request turned to finances.

In that October meeting, the two boards discussed allowing students from the newly accredited Promise Academy at Quakerdale to participate in athletics. The academy educates between five and 12 students who have had troubles at home and school. Those students often leave the school when their situation changes.
