Last week, the Hardin County Board of Supervisors approved a construction evaluation resolution (Master Matrix), as well as an additional resolution concerning public comments and public hearings.

Hardin County's policy for "Chapter 459 Public Comment and Public Hearing" was created by Hardin County Attorney Darrell Meyer.

Still looking for clarification regarding actions/sanctions from the supervisors if written comments do not fit their boundaries of acceptable written comment. Are supervisors allowed to censor comments? Would a citizen be informed that their comment was removed from the packet? Maybe people should know how that would work in clear and certain terms. I'm surprised it passed muster to be approved in the first place.
