Wind Turbines

Wind farm east of Bradford along both sides of Highway 65.

One week after approving the first reading of an ordinance amendment that would dictate where commercial wind turbines can be built, the Hardin County Board of Supervisors halted the second consideration, choosing instead to table its decision until July 8.

During Wednesday’s meeting, the board did not speak much about reasons for tabling the second consideration. Instead, Hardin County Attorney Darrell Meyer elaborated on the county’s process.
