Hardin County Supervisors (from left) Lance Granzow, Renee McClellan and BJ Hoffman unanimously voted to rescind the rule that all courthouse business must be done via appointment during a special meeting on Wednesday. They also passed two budget amendments and an appropriations resolution.

Free traffic is now allowed again at the courthouse thanks to a unanimous vote by the Hardin County Supervisors on Wednesday.

The board voted to rescind the policy requiring all business at county buildings to be done via appointment during a special meeting. Courthouse traffic has been by appointment only since reopening to the public on June 8, 2020. All county buildings were closed to the public beginning March 18, 2020.
