The Eldora-New Providence School Board approved a new Emergency Operations Plan during a short, summer meeting Monday night.

All accredited public and private schools in Iowa are required to have a "high quality" EOP in place this summer after legislation was passed in 2018. According to the federal Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) Technical Assistance guidelines, a "high quality" plan includes:
