The Eldora City Council is considering the adoption of a Property Management Code that would further define what the acceptable state of repair is for local properties.

The City Council passed a first reading of the newly proposed set of ordinances at last week's regular meeting. Much of the chapter covers blight control, which is also covered in other chapters of the Code, such as Chapter 50: Nuisance Abatement Procedure and Chapter 51: Junk and Junk Vehicles.
