Zellmer presents to Eldora council

South Hardin Superintendent Dr. Adam Zellmer presented the school's bond issue plan to the Eldora City Council at their meeting Monday. The vote is Sept. 13.

Both Eldora Police Chief Anthony Schrad and Captain Nick Hassebrock received a 10 percent pay bump, which will take effect retroactively from Aug. 1. The wage adjustment was approved during Tuesday night’s Eldora City Council meeting.

City Clerk Chandra Kyte said Schrad’s hourly salary was $31.42 an hour, and with the 10 percent pay increase, he will receive an additional $3.14/per hour; and Hassebrock’s hourly rate was $26.40, so he will receive an additional $2.64 per hour. The money will come out of the city’s Local Option Sales Tax fund.
