Justin Weber was the first diagnosed case of COVID-19 in Hardin County. After spending 55 days at Allen Hospital, he was released on May 20 and is continuing to recover at home.

The power of love and prayer got Justin Weber through the last eight weeks. There’s no doubt in his mind.

During the 55 days he spent in the hospital for treatment of complications from COVID-19, more than 700 people from across the U.S. and four countries reached out to the Weber family; many of them were strangers.

After losing 26 days of memory, what Justin Weber does remember is how weak he was. It took all of his strength to give a thumbs up sign.

While in rehab, Justin Weber did some kickboxing to work on his strength and balance. He is still recovering from his battle with COVID-19, as he still has some sight and other problems.

The Weber family (Krista, Jon, Rachel and Justin) were separated the 55 days Justin was in the hospital battling COVID-19. To stop the spread of the virus, they were unable to visit him in the hospital and could only see him via FaceTime and Zoom.

One of the things that helped Justin Weber through his ordeal was all the cards and letters from people he received and the prayers from all over the world.
