It has only been a few weeks since Alden Elementary School Principal Kim Nelson notified the school superintendent and school board that she would be resigning from the school, where she has worked for 20 years.

The board moved quickly to find a replacement for Nelson and that replacement has come from the Iowa Falls-Alden area. The Alden School Board and a group of faculty and parents gathered Tuesday interview three candidates for the open position.
