Cadet Kitchen

Iowa Falls-Alden teachers Danae Ites and Matt Mulford helped raise the most money of any organization in the 2021 Barlow Family Foundation Challenge, ultimately taking in almost $43,000 for Cadet Kitchen.

This year will mark the final year of the Barlow Family Foundation Community Challenge (BFFCC) fundraising event, but the spirit of the challenge may be continued under a different name in the future.

The Barlow Challenge, entering its tenth year is part of the Barlow Family Foundation which is the philanthropic arm of Iowa Falls State Bank, asks for applications to enter from non-profit organizations. If chosen those organizations solicit donations between $25 and $100 that are then matched up to the organization's goal. Six organizations entered last year raising a total of more than $148,000.
