With mask on and sanitizer at the ready, Kathy Bengston - the customer service coordinator and Millennium Club director at Iowa Falls State Bank - is ready to greet customers. 

As the restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus have been lifted, and businesses and government offices have reopened to the public, there's been effort by some to put extra measures in place to protect employees and visitors.

The Centers for Disease Control has issued guidelines for decreasing the chances of spreading COVID-19. They include installation of physical barriers - such as clear plastic sneeze guards - to keep two people from infecting each other

Iowa Falls Glass owner Steve Henry measures out a piece of Lexan glass. A few cuts later it was a barrier intended for installation at Iowa Falls State Bank.

Z&Z Glass

Chad Ziesman, of Z&Z Glass, said he has been sending sheets of plastic lexan glass out as fast as he can get them in. The material is being used as barriers at various businesses and offices.
