The Board of Directors of Green Belt Bank & Trust announced this week that it has hired Kirk Yung to be the new president and chief executive officer of the bank. He will begin work on April 29.
Yung has spent more than 30 years in banking. He and his wife, Mary, will be moving to Iowa Falls from Fort Dodge, where he has most recently served as group president for Great Western Bank. Young has been responsible for the oversight of nine regional market areas in Central Iowa stretching from Grinnell to Sioux City. He oversaw a staff of more than 80 people and assets under management of over $1 billion in his previous role.
