Two months after predicting that Hansen Family Hospital would end the 2018-19 fiscal year with a loss, hospital leaders presented numbers on Wednesday that show it wrapped up the year with a profit that was just $30,000 short of budget.

The June financial report was presented to the hospital’s Board of Trustees during a meeting Wednesday afternoon. Board member Francis Fritz, who is the liaison between the trustees and the hospital on financial issues, put the credit for the positive swing squarely on the shoulders of HFH employees.
