The Iowa Falls City Council gave permission for engineers to move forward with three water projects estimated to cost $965,000 during Monday's meeting.

The council approved moving forward on replacing water main lines on Rocksylvania and Fremont streets and a sanitary force main line on Pine Street. Mitch Holtz, of Fox Engineering, originally brought up the concerns of Water and Wastewater Superintendent Scott Peden two months ago.
