Fort Dodge Mural Wrap

The Iowa Falls-Alden High School will design and install a "wrap" mural on a 103-foot wall in the student activities hallway at the high school. The design will be based on the above mural in Fort Dodge High School. The IFA mural will include images of students engaged in a variety of activities.

Iowa Falls-Alden High School isn’t getting a new gym, but it’s going to look like it did by the time several improvement projects are complete next year.

On Monday, the Iowa Falls School Board gave its permission for the district to pursue seven purchases or projects that collectively are estimated to cost at least $82,000. District Superintendent Tony Neumann said the project list started with the need to address an issue with the gym floor. But after discussion, school leaders are using it as an opportunity to do more in the areas in and around the high school’s gym and student center.
