The Iowa Falls School Board will wait to make a decision about a possible addition at the high school until after the district’s buildings can be assessed for immediate needs and long-term viability.

Last month the Board was presented with several options for an addition at the high school that would build a new band room, a second gym and expand the school’s shop. Price estimates ranged from $2 million to $7.5 million, depending on orientation of the addition and materials – whether it’s built of metal, precast or a combination of the two.
