Las Flores Reopens

Jose Orozco was concerned that restaurants were being opened too early. Those fears of opening only to reclose came real as a number of his employees tested positive for covid-19. Las Flores reopened last week after closing completely following the positive tests.

Jose Orozco was concerned when he was ordered to close his popular Iowa Falls restaurant Las Flores as the coronavirus pandemic began to spread in Iowa in March. In May, when he got permission to reopen, he wasn’t exactly eager. He was worried about what could happen.

Orozco knew that a positive COVID-19 test would close the restaurant again. And that’s exactly what happened.
