Darwin Miller

Darwin Miller, director of Hardin County ISU Extension and Outreach, speaks after he was honored as this year's recipient of the Making a World of Difference award on Thursday, April 4, 2019. Miller is retiring at the end of January.

Darwin Miller is the face of ISU Extension and Outreach in Hardin County. His presence at workshops, community events and other local functions has been a constant over the years.

But after January he’ll be a little less visible. After nearly 19 years at the Extension office, Miller is ready to take some time for himself and for his family. He announced this fall that he will retire on Jan. 31.
