Bellino Fireworks

Bellino Fireworks have a tent full of consumer-grade fireworks for sale at their Hy-Vee parking lot location in Iowa Falls

Local officials are reminding Hardin County residents when and where they can use fireworks this summer in order to avoid a ticket.

The Iowa Legislature legalized the sale and use of consumer-grade fireworks in 2017, but many cities and counties have passed their own ordinances aimed at curbing the sale and use of those products. Consumer-grade fireworks include firecrackers, rockets, Roman candles, spinners and other similar explosives. Novelty fireworks, such as sparklers and snakes, are legal to use anytime.
