IF-A Choir

IF-A vocal music teacher Brandon Waring (right) works with his choir students. The choir has doubled in size since last year and is soliciting donations to purchase new, safer risers for concerts.

The Iowa Falls-Alden high school and middle school choirs are growing quickly under the tutelage of second year director Brandon Waring and now they're asking for the public's help.

The vocal music program is one of six participants in this year's Barlow Family Foundation Community Challenge. Waring said the goal is to raise $15,000, which would be matched by the foundation, for a total of $30,000 to pay for new risers and sound shells.
