Chris Skyles

Chris Skyles admitted he struggled in school. After missing time due to cancer treatments, he finally received his high school diploma from South Hardin High School.

Stuff happens. And when it does, you can’t let it get you down.

That’s the motto that Chris Skyles lives by and it has helped him overcome major adversity in his 20 years of life.

SHHS diploma

It may have taken a little extra time, but Chris Skyles was determined to finish out his high school career with a diploma.

For others, Chris Skyles's story is one of persistence and resiliency. It showed SHHS Principal Mike Rundall that even in the worst situations you have to look for the sunshine.
