2020 Primary Election 3

Some of the voters who cast ballots at the Ag and Renewable Energy Center in Iowa Falls for the June 2 primary election wore face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. While masks were not required, they were encouraged.

All registered Iowa voters will receive an absentee ballot request form in the mail, just as in June's primary election.

Sending the request forms was still up in the air after Republicans in the Iowa Legislature passed a bill in June that required Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate to get approval from the Republican-controlled Legislative Council to send the request forms.
