Herbert Dardano

Herbert Dardano is originally from El Salvador but has been in the United States since he was 11-years-old. Speaking Spanish as his first language, he has a different and effective way of teaching the language to students at South Hardin High School.

It wasn’t a straight path for Herbert Dardano to get into teaching. In fact, he took a long and winding road to get to where he is today. But it’s something he found he enjoys, and he continues to look for new ways to improve his style and his classroom.

Dardano was born in El Salvador before moving to Boston when he was 11 years old. He attended Ellsworth Community College and then graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in agronomy.
