Laura Hoover

Rock Run Elementary School resource teacher Laura Hoover works with a student in her classroom on Dec. 13. This is Hoover’s ninth year at Rock Run, whose staff she said made her feel at home almost immediately.

There are a lot of things Laura Hoover might do if she weren’t a teacher. But, fortunately for her students and coworkers at Iowa Falls’ Rock Run Elementary School, she gets to do all of them as a teacher.

“That’s probably why teaching is right for me,” said Hoover, who is a resource teacher at the school. “I get to be a leader, a performer, a creator, a collaborator. It’s never the same.”
