Karla Isaacson

Karla Isaacson, an eighth grade special education teacher at Riverbend Middle School, works with Noah Feauto. A graduate of Alden High School, Isaacson said she loves teaching in the area where she grew up.

Karla Isaacson looks at her teaching career as one that has come full circle. She began student-teaching in the Iowa Falls School District, and now finds herself today completing her fourth year on the staff at Riverbend Middle School.

A 1989 graduate of Alden High School, Isaacson grew up in a house with many brothers and sisters. The eighth grade special education teacher wanted to get into the teaching profession at a young age. She taught Sunday school at her church, and Isaacson cited one of her aunts as a big influence in her career path.
