Editors note: The Ackley World Journal is detailing the Grand JiVanté COVID-19 outbreak in a series of stories. They tell the story of the outbreak, as seen through the eyes of those who battled the virus, and share how the 35 residents who contracted the disease were cared for. This is part two. Find part one here.

The chatter going on around the table at the Grand JiVante board room quickly quieted. Though the leadership team had an opportunity to share their stories, the experience had left them with a bond that only those who went through it could appreciate.
