Trish Lee

Trish Lee enjoys her job as Iowa Falls School Business Official and Board Secretary, but it’s not the most important thing in her life. For that, she looks to her church, her husband and her love of music.

Trish Lee avoids the ruts in life. She doesn’t want to sleep on the same side of the bed every night. She doesn’t want to sit at the same place at the dinner table every day. She doesn’t want to order the same drink from the Coffee Attic every time she visits the Iowa Falls business.

But when she finds something good, she’s willing to keep at it. Case in point: she’s been married to the same man for 35 years, she’s been attending the same church for 33 years, she’s been living in the same house for 28 years. And she’s been working in the Iowa Falls School District’s main office for 33 years.

Over the last 33 years, Lee’s job as Iowa Falls School Board Secretary and School Business Official has changed, from a typewriter, to a computer that tracks every school district expenditure. She enjoys the work and takes pride in accuracy and accountability.
