Vickie Coughenour

Vickie Coughenour had the option of continuing to be a salesperson or staying at the desk she has served for more than 42 years when the business changed ownership. She chose the desk after being on the road every Wednesday for 30 of those years.

Vickie Coughenour, 62, has been in the same job for just over 42 years. She’s outlasted the technology she was selling for most of those years with Hecht & Jimenez. Her new bosses with Copy Systems, Inc. recently told her they’d like at least another 10 years out of her.

“April 21, 1979, I started as a secretary,” Coughenour said. “We had one service tech, the owner Ruven (Jimenez) and myself. The three of us ran the business a long time.”

Vickie Coughenour spends much of her day working with customers over the phone. She has built a lot of relationships that have come with her now that Hecht & Jimenez became Copy Systems, Inc.
