Matt Whitaker

Former acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker chats with a supporter of President Donald Trump Friday evening in Eldora. Republicans from throughout the area gathered at The Shed in Eldora for the Hardin County Republicans' annual sweet corn feed.

The pork-on-a-stick and sweet corn were hot Friday night, and so were Hardin County Republicans for President Donald Trump's re-election after listening to former acting U.S. Attorney General Matt Whitaker at The Shed in Eldora.

Whitaker, who spent four months as U.S. Attorney General and about 17 months in Washington D.C. after leaving his post as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa, told the crowd why he thinks President Trump needs to be re-elected.
