Since March, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds has used those words to describe the way she and other state leaders are acting as they make decisions around the coronavirus pandemic. In April and May, she talked about safely and responsibly reopening businesses, churches and other organizations. In recent months, she’s talked about how the Iowa Department of Education is working with local school districts to safely and responsibly bring Iowa students back into the classroom.
