Laura Kennedy

When my mother died, she requested “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and “Somewhere My Love” be sung at her funeral and that she be cremated and her ashes scattered in the Gulf of Mexico.

True to Goggie’s wishes, her funeral was carried out. The family attempted her last request one nippy Sunday afternoon in April. It took a bit of finagling since we needed A. a boat and B. as many family members as possible.
