Thank you for recently printing Shawn Digity's article "Fitts Ravine: What — and where — is this almost forgotten Iowa Falls remnant?" (Jan. 7).

I believe the railway mentioned was the Chicago and Northwestern railway which traveled south from Iowa Falls. The Wisner Swamp was approximately 210 acres, around the Beaver Creek approx east/south east of the Iowa Falls Airport.

Swamp mentioned pg 242 , 13th Annual Report of the board of Railroad commissioners.
