My affection for microbrewed beer is becoming a little more public and well-chronicled. Lori at Hy-Vee and Jason at Fareway have both gone out of their way to accommodate me at times. Local bartenders don’t see much of me, but Sean at Highland often has something tucked under the counter for the rare occasion I make it out for a beer.

Last week I was working in the garage and a neighbor stopped by.
