I’m not one to make resolutions. Sure I’d like to lose a little weight or find a way to focus on the things that matter. But making a year-long strict resolution like that just seems like I’m setting myself up for failure. By February I’d give up on it.

I like the fresh start of a new year. The first day of the first month is a new beginning. There’s promise and hope. So instead of resolutions I’m setting goals, and thinking about what I’d like to see and experience in this new year.
