Can you believe this? There is no such thing as an “Electoral College” mentioned in the United States Constitution, only the terms “elector or electors.” In fact “Electoral College” is a modern day euphemism for voter ballot control.

According to FactCheck.org, some of our founding fathers were quite apprehensive about actually establishing a democratic form of government. I refer you to an article online at FactCheck.org by Joe Miller entitled “The Reason for the Electoral College.”
