The Iowa High School Athletic Association’s Board of Control has decided to shift football to a one-year scheduling cycle, at least for one year.

High school football programs across the state learned their district opponents for the coming season, and while the biggest change is the switch from a two-year to a one-year scheduling cycle, many similarities remain in place.

South Hardin football

South Hardin's Waylen Butler and the Tigers will compete in Class 1A District 3 this fall.

AGWSR Football

AGWSR's Jaden Penning and the Cougars were placed in Eight-Player District 2.
