Iowa school districts have spent a lot of time working on protocols to keep athletes, coaches, staff members and members of the public safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
Their challenges increased last Thursday, when Gov. Kim Reynolds issued a new proclamation that lifts restrictions on the number of fans in attendance at sporting events.
Limited immediate household spectator policy remains in place w/ tickets. Fans must leave after your child is done, and masks are required at all times. No changes in spectator rules for 1/8 or 1/11 while new proclamation is reviewed by staff with conference/state associations. pic.twitter.com/rqg1rMJFx0
