Border Cup - Troy Muilenburg

Highland Country Club member Troy Muilenburg prepares to strike a tee shot during Sunday's Border Cup competition with the Hampton Country Club. The event is held annually and features three rounds of competition between club members of the two area golf courses. Highland Country Club won Sunday's event to reclaim the traveling cup trophy.

It was not quite the snobs versus slobs rivalry that takes place in the film "Caddyshack", but the 60 golfers that participated in the fourth annual Border Cup event at Highland Country Club competed for pride, bragging rights and yes, a trophy cup.

The 2018 Border Cup event features a unique and friendly competition between Highland Golf Club (Iowa Falls) members and Hampton Country Club members. Started four years ago, Nate Forsyth - a member of Highland Golf Club - said while the event is fun, the 60 players - 30 on each team - take the competition very seriously.
